I have an illustration paper in English do tomorrow and I've no idea what to write it on. We can only use our own experience, no outside sources. Any ideas? Asked by hello_dickbag - Mon Apr 2 20:07:51 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. An illustration is like drawing a picture. So draw a word picture of something, some place, or someone you know. Or something you do. Describe it, all about it. Like describe your house, or your mother, or your family, or your grandfather, or describe your pet. Whatever you like, describe that. Describe something you did with your friend, your pet, or your mom, that was nice, or scary, or funny, or comforting, or sad. In your story tell where you were, what the sky looked like, or the room you were in, etc... You get the picture? Illustrate it with words. Answered by shoshone - Mon Apr 2 20:18:35 2007 How much will Getty or Corbis pay for my illustration rights?
Q. If I sold a really awesome illustration to a big stock company like Corbis, Getty Images or the like, how much will they pay me for the rights? Once I sell the rights, can anyone who buys my work put their name on it as their own? That would suck. Asked by Orange - Thu Jun 25 08:41:30 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. I usually go straight to them and ask, they both have a contacts link on the websites. The main thing here is that it would remain your property until you sell the rights and then they can print and publish all over the place but they don't just do it like they, they may offer you royalty fees and the like. It all depends on what you work is going to be used for. I have been paid 200 per page and that was for a comic strip over 10 years ago, I have no idea how corbis or getty works. They look royalty free some of them. Answered by Andy D - Thu Jun 25 09:45:29 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "illustration" BT Livermore aka radrobot
